摘要:《“消化硬铁”:玛丽安·摩尔诗论》对美国现代女诗人玛丽安•摩尔的诗歌作品进行了全面论述。这本书聚焦于摩尔的诗歌文本和诗艺本身,采用了文本细读、结构性比较、文化批评等多种研究方法,用“克制”、“还原”、“互文性”、“别处”、“肖像诗”和“想象”等六个关键词作为指引,分析了摩尔的诗歌特征和艺术成就,揭示了她在现代主义诗歌中的独特地位,以及对建构现代女性诗歌传统的开创意义。

Title: Restoring a Just Gardening: A Review of “Digesting Hard Iron”: A Study of Marianne Moore’s Poetry
Abstract: “Digesting Hard Iron”: A Study of Marianne Moore’s Poetry offers a comprehensive analysis of the poetic works of the American modernist poet Marianne Moore. Focusing on Moore’s poetic texts and craft, the book employs a variety of research methods, including close reading, structural comparison, and cultural criticism. Using six key terms—“restraint,” “reduction,” “intertextuality,” “Elsewhere,” “Portrait Poetry,” and “Imagination” as guiding principles to analyze the characteristics and artistic achievements of Moore’s poetry. It reveals her unique position within modernist poetry and her pioneering significance in establishing a modern tradition of women’s poetry.
